Educate on Clean Energy

Renewable energy is new to many areas, and communities are raising good questions about energy projects. Citizens deserve answers to their questions and concerns about renewable energy and how they can develop energy the right way.

Our communities will achieve the best outcomes when we are working from a consistent set of facts and information. Through education efforts, Energy Right fosters constructive conversations among community residents, businesses, and leaders to make the best energy decisions possible at the local level.

Serve Our Communities

We believe communities are best served when leaders pursue a diverse energy portfolio that pursues the lowest cost electricity possible. We deserve a secure and stable supply of homegrown electricity that can fuel our economies rather than those from out of state or overseas.

As a non-profit, Energy Right aims to engage localities and stakeholders considering clean energy policy and projects to make sure facts and best practices at the forefront. We will share model policies and recommendations to all who are interested the clean energy conversation.

Add a Conservative Voice

We know that good things happen when issues are subject to a healthy debate, but for too long, conservatives have shied away from clean energies that help us secure energy independence and power local economies with locally sourced energy. Energy Right is dedicated to bringing a conservative perspective to the clean energy table and applying conservative principles to the energy challenges we face.

Our founding fathers were keen on protecting personal property rights and believed man's right to his property comes from God and is up to the government to protect. George Washington said, "Freedom and property rights are inseparable. You can't have one without the other." We agree. Freedom to use property as owners see fit is the cornerstone to capitalism. As clean energy projects are proposed, we support a market driven approach where energies compete for inclusion on the grid. A robust and diverse all-of-the-above energy strategy--including renewables--sets us up well as energy generation technology competes and improves over time.
