Pastures and Panels: The Power of Solar Grazing Documentary
Sept 3rd

We hope you all had a fantastic Labor Day weekend, and just in case you missed it, we want to invite those of you in the Charlottesville and surrounding area to a special screening of a documentary focusing on agrivoltaics and the overlap between energy and farmland.

Tomorrow we’ll be hosting the event at the Common House in Charlottesville, and hope you can make it!

The evening kicks off with the premiere of Pastures and Panels: The Power of Solar Grazing, a brand-new documentary from the American Solar Grazing Association. After the film, stick around for a lively panel discussion with Virginia grazers who are out in the field every day, putting sheep to work on solar projects.

And of course, we’ll close things out with a reception—good food, good drinks, and plenty of chances for one-on-one conversations. Think of it as part learning, part networking, part celebration of what’s possible when farming and clean energy come together.

This event will bring together community members, local leaders, and state officials, all exploring how solar grazing can create new opportunities in both agriculture and energy. It’s going to be a great mix of people and perspectives—you won’t want to miss it.

If you haven’t RSVP’d yet, go ahead and grab your spot today as there is limited space remaining!
